The mainstream types are LED UV printers and traditional mercury lamp UV printers. Mercury lamp UV printers have a wide power range, but generate a lot of heat and have a short lifespan, making them only suitable for mass production of high-temperature resistant materials such as metals and wood, and are gradually being replaced by LED models.

II. Power Selection: Match according to needs, avoid blindly pursuing higher power.

Power directly affects curing efficiency and must be selected based on production capacity and coating thickness. For small-batch production of jewelry, small hardware items, and other small parts, an 800-1200W model is sufficient; for medium-batch printing of plastic casings and electronic components, a 1500-2500W model offers good value; for large-batch continuous production lines such as sheet metal and automotive parts printing, a high-power model of 3000W or more is required. Adjustable power models are preferred to accommodate switching between various product types.

 III.Wavelength Selection: Closely Considering the Characteristics of Consumables and Materials

The wavelength determines the curing effect, with the core focus on three wavelengths: 365nm, 395nm, and 405nm. 365nm offers concentrated energy and strong penetration, making it suitable for dark materials, thick ink layers, and delicate products such as optical lenses. 395nm boasts the greatest versatility, adapting to most materials including plastics, metals, and wood, making it the preferred choice for small and medium-sized printing plants. 405nm generates extremely low heat, specifically designed for heat-sensitive materials such as PC plastics and films, preventing deformation.

The core of model selection is "precise matching": first, determine the ink's sensitive wavelength; then, determine the power output based on production capacity; and finally, select the appropriate model based on the material. Before purchasing, always bring a sample for testing to assess curing adhesion and material stability.
